OUR TEAM has united Human Rights protection experts in various fields who have practical experience in restoring violated human and citizen rights and freedoms, protecting their interests in state authorities and courts, law-making and scientific activities, international cooperation
On June 13, 2022, at the general meeting of our organization, Lyudmyla Denisova, an outstanding Ukrainian politician and statesman, former Ukrainian Parliament Commissioner for Human Rights (March 15, 2018 – May 31, 2022), People's Deputy of Ukraine of the V-VIII convocations, Minister of Social Policy (2007-2010; 2014) was elected as the Chairperson of the UHRC.

OUR MISSION is the development of Ukraine as a state where everyone can exercise and protect their rights and freedoms
PURPOSES:
- assistance in the realization of Human Rights and Freedoms;
- monitoring of Human Rights compliance by state authorities;
- collection of information about violations of Human Rights and Freedoms by the russian occupiers;
- conducting legal education events;
- preparation of proposals to bring Ukrainian legislation into line with international standards;
- implementation of projects to establish the supremacy of Human Rights in Ukraine.
- assistance in building a fair civil society in Ukraine based on universal values;
- assistance in ensuring the Rule of Law, national and international standards of Human and Citizen Rights and Freedoms in social relations in Ukraine;
- supporting the formation and development of the Ukrainian Human Rights movement;
- assistance to individuals and legal entities in the implementation and protection of their rights and interests protected by law in all spheres of social life;
- monitoring of compliance by state authorities, local self-government and their officials with the Constitution and laws of Ukraine in the exercise of their powers;
- promoting the protection of private property of individuals and legal entities in accordance with the current legislation of Ukraine;
- assistance to business entities in the realization of their legal rights and legally protected interests;
- assistance in ensuring that the interests of all social groups are taken into account by state authorities and local self-government bodies;
- collection of information about the facts of violations of human rights and fundamental freedoms and the legal situation in Ukraine;
- promotion of raising the level of legal culture in society;
- promoting information about the state of Human Rights and fundamental Freedoms in Ukraine to the attention of its members, Ukrainian state and non-state organizations, international bodies and organizations, as well as a wide circle of the public.
