The head of the Donetsk regional military administration, Pavlo Kyrylenko, states that it is practically impossible to live in Maryintka, Krasnohorivka, and Avdiivka due to incessant enemy fire.

The surviving population is constantly in bomb shelters, not going outside for days.

There is not a single surviving house in the settlements. According to Pavel Kyrylenko, since the russian troops use a drone for reconnaissance and then start shelling, they are deliberately shelling the residential sector. The enemy is trying to turn Ukrainian cities and villages into scorched earth.

Such war tactics contradict even the very ideology of the four Geneva Conventions of 1949 and once again reveal the essence of the russian federation as a terrorist state. The actions of the invading army constitute war crimes and crimes against humanity under Articles 7 and 8 of the Rome Statute of the International Criminal Court. I appeal to the UN Commission for the Investigation of Human Rights Violations during the russian military invasion of Ukraine to take into account these facts of russian crimes and violations of human rights in Ukraine.
