Children are locked indoors and not allowed out for breaks, searched, forced to sing the russian national anthem and learn so-called "patriotic songs."
The rashists introduced the study of the "alternative" history of russia and Ukraine in schools. Children are told about the "one nation" and that Ukraine is an "artificial, unreal" country. In addition, parents continue to be pressured about the "need" to send their children to the Crimea or the russian federation, "away from hostilities, where they will be better off." Thus, the occupiers are trying to deport the children who still remained in the temporarily occupied Melitopol.
Such actions of the aggressor state are a gross violation of the child's rights to self-determination, upbringing, and education, guaranteed by the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child and the Geneva Convention on the Protection of the Civilian Population in Time of War.
I appeal to the UN Commission to Investigate Human Rights Violations during the russian military invasion of Ukraine to take into account these facts of violations of children's rights by the russian federation in Ukraine
